I have a question. A few weeks ago my boyfriend was arrested for possession of a dangerous drug. Yesterday we went to my friends apartment and fished on the dock. The same cop pulled up. Asking us if we lived there. My friend said no but we were her guests. He then searches us (keep in mind that me and my friend are both 9 months preganat), gives us warnings for tresspassing, and kicks me off the property. My friend called me a few minutes later, and said the cop was telling her she needed to “stay away from my boyfriend.” He told her when and why he was arrested. Telling her what my boyfriend had on him, and what they can do to you. Calling him a drug dealer, which he is not. This was his first arrest and it scared him. Can cops do that? Can they talk to civilians about the people they arrested?
