QUESTION:
So, one time, a very long time ago. I was in the back of a cop car, and when the officer ran my name, I seen a flashing warning sign on the screen as he scrolled down. Am I tripping, or is this really a thing? Mind you this was over 16 years ago, in California.
ANSWER:
It honestly could have been anything. And the CAD systems that were used back then were not fantastic. It could have been an alert that had nothing to do with your specific information or it could have been an alert about you. It is hard to know. I assume you were let go and did not go to jail so I assume it was not related to you at the time or he might have told you if you had a warrant etc.
